Granmore a cut above the rest at Barber’s shop

Granmore recently built a suspended ceiling for a barber’s shop in Monton, Greater Manchester.

We decided to create the illusion of a white floating ceiling by using a border of black ceiling tiles.

The main part of the ceiling used white acoustic ceiling tiles to absorb sound as barbers’ shops are very noisy places, and acoustic ceilings can absorb over 50% of the sound.

We fitted low energy, high frequency lights in the suspended ceiling to reduce running costs.

LED lights are less expensive than traditional lighting and have a greater lifespan.

You can see the results in the images below.

Granmore fits suspended ceilings in a wide range of commercial premises.
