A Large Office Area – Energy-Efficient and Climate-Controlled Ceiling Upgrade

We recently completed a significant ceiling installation project in a large office space, where the existing setup presented a number of energy and comfort challenges. The office had air-conditioning systems in place, but due to the very high original roof, both heating and cooling were inefficient, with much of the temperature control being lost to the upper space.

To address this, we installed a new acoustic suspended ceiling fitted with high-quality insulation above, designed to dramatically improve thermal efficiency and sound control. This ceiling system will now help to retain warmth during winter and maintain cooler temperatures during summer, ensuring a much more comfortable working environment all year round.

In addition, we replaced the outdated lighting with modern, low-energy LED fittings. These LEDs not only consume approximately half the energy of the previous fixtures, but they also deliver significantly better light output, enhancing visibility and reducing strain for office workers.

The combination of thermal insulation, acoustic improvement, and energy-efficient lighting will lead to substantial savings on electricity bills, while also supporting the company’s environmental goals. The client is extremely pleased with the results — both aesthetically and functionally — and the transformation of the workspace has had an immediate positive impact on comfort and energy usage.
